Recensioni

While Kingsolver is one of my all time favorites, I just couldn't get engrossed in this one. I am moving to my DNF for the time being. Maybe I will try again someday in the future.

I liked this a lot, she's a great writer. It didn't really speak to me, though.

Thoroughly enjoyable made more so by the excellent narrator who nailed the regional accent, Charlie Thurston. A story that parallels David Copperfield but I think is more of a modern-day Huckleberry Finn.

3.5 stars. Too much descriptive sex for my personal taste, but I wanted the book to continue; it seemed to end just as the three story lines were joining up in an interesting way. I liked the environmental slant and info.
