- a_forester: Inspiring creativity in the use of language, time, plot, and in making everyday observations transform into poetry. This was a story of two people whose lives were torn apart by World War II but who found their way to meaning in living. This is what great writing can do.

- Familiar_Diversions: While I hated saying goodbye to the main cast of characters, this was a satisfying ending to the Imperial Radch trilogy and will probably be a comfort read of mine for some time to come.

- rebl: The selection of You're Never Weird is based on the audio book. The book could have read like an overlong humblebrag. Instead she's engaging, honest and entertaining. She is as genuine as you can get in memoir.

- Familiar_Diversions: I reread this book several times while waiting for Ancillary Mercy to come out. Breq and Seivarden alone were nice enough, but Breq with a ship and a crew was even better.
