These are the books reviewed in the latest edition:

Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen
If It's Speed You're After by E McDonald Bailey
Through the Woods by H. E. Bates
The Secret of the Sahara: Kufara by Rosita Forbes
Jane Grigson's Fruit Book by Jane Grigson
Lord Emsworth's Annotated Whiffle by James Hogg
There's a German Just Behind Me by Clare Hollingsworth
The Fatal Shore by Robert Hughes
The Evolution Man by Roy Lewis
Eight Feet in the Andes by Dervla Murphy
The Gift by Vladimir Nabokov
Love and War in the Apennines by Eric Newby
The Moon and the Bonfires by Cesare Pavese
The Fountain Overflows, This Real Night and Cousin Rosamund by Rebecca West
Museum Without Walls and other works by Jonathan Meades
The Setons and other novels by O. Douglas (Anna Buchan)

There are nearly 30,000 copies of Sense and Sensibility in its various presentations on LT so it is miles ahead of second place The Fatal Shore at around 3000. The Evolution Man, The Gift, The Moon and the Bonfires and the first of Rebecca West's trilogy, The Fountain Overflows, all manage a respectable 850 - 1000.
Eric Newby scores 470 and Jane Grigson about 200 along with the other two West books. There are 158 copies of Dervla Murphy's account of a long walk in the Andes with her 9-year old daughter and a mule. None of the rest beat 52 copies. Meades' book is the second best represented of his many works, most of which have but a single copy. There are a handful of Whiffles and a small collection of O. Douglas' dozen works - 42 of The Setons. It is a bit sad for the sister of John Buchan. Clare Hollingworth has other works on LT but no copy of her memoir of her cub reporter's scoop of the German invasion of Poland in 1939. A single copy of McDonald Bailey's autobiographic primer on sprinting was entered but has gone, leaving a zero copy work.

>2 ironjaw: My pleasure. I like to have the green ticks to remind me what I already possess.
