:-) . I think she (they) get better with each new book. I am a big fan of prehistoric novels- it is a pity that there are so few.

from thoose 3??...I think Julia Quinn. But all of them are good- their book do have a plot- not all erotic/love novels can say that from themselves. I hate 1. when they go at it already at page...10?
2. If the 20-something heroine is like "uh , what feelings are that.." (if you know what I mean)
and the worst: if the "hero" is a big fan of "forcefull seduction" - (best example of the last jane feather, heather graham)
I just brought my 2 book of mary balogh -Heartless. I was not fond of that one. But as I liked More than a mistress a lot- I will try more of her books.

Favorit authors are Haywood Smith , Rebecca Michele, Kathleen Givens, Sandra Brown,Karen M. Moning ,
Juliet Marillier,Penelope Williamson, Franka Villette,Ruth Berger,Dorothy Cannell,Joan Aiken

best mystery novel ever:Morality play by Barry Unsworth

My all time favorit author is Patricia Veryan (sorry no sex in it ;-) )

I thought the first one was the best, the second and the third nice, the fourth was less and the last one better again. It only is such a long wait each time before the next comes ;-)

@ FAMeulstee
I don´t like the role of the women in the first books. (a bit chauvinistic is´nt it?)
And the scientific knowledge has improved since. So I like her last books more.

I started reading the Julia Quinn Bridgerton series with Eloise's book, To Sir Phillip, With Love and then, of course, had to go back and read all the others, but it still remains my favorite.

One of my all time favorite books is a romance - My Darling Caroline by Adele Ashworth. If you have not read it, I urge you to give it a try.

ALCOTTACRE....
Here I go again...adding yet another book to my huge pbr pile. I hope to read My Darling Caroline in the near future. Normally I don't read romance novels, but since joining this group, my reading has become more diverse...
I'm no longer stuck in historical fiction....
Thanks!

#11 Whisper1: I blame it all on LT - my reading has become more diverse than I could possibly have imagined just a year ago, so I know exactly how you feel! I no longer have a TBR pile, I have a TBR mountain!
