So what did you think of Coraline by Neil Gaiman?
Was it sublime? Was it ridiculous? Any (virtual) throwing of books at the wall? Or did you feel compelled to read everything the author has written?
Discuss it all here! Spoilers abound, enter at your own risk...

Ahhh, I read this in the queue waiting to get the book signed by Neil Gaiman himself. I thinks some of you were there.... There was a girl right ahead of us who persuaded him to sign her t-shirt and there was a humerous awkward pause when he realised he was pretty much signing her boobs.
The book is fantastic. I especially love the cat. The other mother has to be one of the creepiest characters ever created. It reminds me a little of some of E Nesbit's books but darker. Kids wandering into other worlds and having to figure stuff out to get home.
This is one of my favourite of Gaiman's books, others I also enjoyed were American Gods, Neverwhere and the poem Instructions
