I've cobbled together a review of sorts here: http://speesh.wordpress.com/2010/07/31/vikings-in-america/
In short - excellent book, really readable and thought provoking.

Promises to much but offer nothing but fluff. Studiously raises all the obstacles that family history researchers encounters, the brick walls we all come to know so well, makes some fairly obvious alternative suggestions but then. Just leaves us there hanging out to dry. Yes it covers a wide spectrum of family history research sources. In doing so there were a couple of comments of interest to me. Here is the rub, it useless as a starter kit and it has no depth of insight to offer a stuck serious researcher facing that brickwall. Just waffle. What is desperately missing are some examples, examples of the records available examples of worked out solutions. Then the book might have had something to offer, either to the novice or to the experienced researcher, but not to both.
This book suggests the the How to Series, publishing it, should move up to the top of their agenda the How to Book About Write a Useful and Informative Book!

Harry has grown up with muggles (non-magic humans.) He doesn’t know about magic until he goes with Rubeus Hagrid a wizard. Weird things happen at Hogwarts, the best wizardry school ever. He makes friends with Ron on the train to Hogwarts.

Harry Potter is new to wizardry after growing up with muggles. He lives with his uncle, aunt and their child Dudley. Hagrid comes to his house and takes him to get his wizardry stuff.

Hermione is a smart wizard. She is also kind of stuck up. She studies too much and knows almost everything on wizardry. She is an only child and dislikes Harry and his thoughts.

Ron Weasly is not good at magic he is Harry’s best friend in Hogwarts. He’s collecting chocolate frog cards. He also has five brothers that all have done special things.

I think Harry shouldn’t have tried to get the sorcerers stone and gone on with his daily business.

I recommend this book to fantasy lovers. Harry Potter and the sorcerers stone is magic filled and suspenseful.

While this is a good quiz book for Harry Potter fans, I was expecting something a little more.
