Gr 7 Up—Eiric and Reginn, a Viking and a foundling with magic, are both set on separate quests to find the island
refuge for sorcerers in this Norse adventure. Infused with themes of justice, autonomy, and found family, Chima's
series opener is a tapestry of satisfying plot twists and nuanced worldbuilding

This book was a bit of a struggle for me. I had this book on my tbr for so long and just feel like i was not the moment to read this book. I have heard such good things about the later book in this series and want to try to read this book closer together in the next year!!
