What character do you love most from any Stephen King novel, novella or short story? Let me know!

I would have to say mine is Eddie Dean from DT series, first introduced in The Drawing of the Three. At that point i really got excited about the series and became a huge fan.

Oh, my favourite character of every single Stephen King story ever is easily "Wolf! Right here and now". That is of course Wolf, Jack Sawyer's werewolf friend from The Talisman. The Talisman has been my favourite Stephen King book up to yet, I haven't read that many of his books (about twelve maximum maybe) so I have yet to come across more character but yes it's got to be "Wolf!" all the way, his death was so sad :(
I've just taken Black House out of the library and can't wait to read it after the other few I have out.

Oh and thanks for inviting me to this group Starmap :)

Pennywise from It or Tak from Desperation.

I haven't read too many King books, especially lately. I did just re-read the Gunslinger and plan on reading the next one as soon as I catch up on a few other books.

Wow, I have so many to choose from.

Good guys:

Stu Redman The Stand
Lisey Landon Lisey's Story
Jack Sawyer The Talisman, Black House
Dale Barbara Under the Dome
Dolores Claiborne
Roland Deschain The Dark Tower
All the kids in It

Bad guys:

Randall Flagg
Pennywise It
The Crimson King

That's all I can think of right now. Maybe once more people reply I'll be able to add on more.

I'd probably pick John Coffey, although I also like Stuttering Bill, Ralph Roberts, Randall Flagg and both the McGee's.

When we are talking about sympathizing I really like James Eric Gardenere from Tommyknockers. If we are talking about the entertainment value of a character I go with Bobbi Anderson's sister in the same book.

It has to be Annie Wilkes, of course. (every writer needs that kind of muse... well, maybe not)
