Time Travel Romance Scotland - Series

Hi there,
I had this on an ereader that went missing and cannot find it in my online library.
American woman and her toddler daughter have a car accident in their US town and end up in a loch in Scotland hundreds of years in the past. They get rescued by a band of Scottish warriors and she lives in their castle, 'marries' the laird who she knows is a Scottish hero who will die in a famous battle. She is pregnant with his child and (I forget how) ends up back in the states in her own time where she has her son and continues her life. The second book (which I haven't read) starts with the son and daughter (the toddler) now young adults who have a car accident and end up in Scotland again 100s of years ago and in the middle(?) of a battle where they meet the same laird.
I'd love to know what the series is so I can reread the first book and continue the series. Any help appreciated

Are you sure it was set in Scotland? This one has an American woman and her toddler daughter in a car accident- they end up in Wales.
Daughter of Time by Sarah Woodbury. Footsteps in Time is the next book with her daughter and son.
