The books I read are all over the place. Literally--I need to straighten up. Junot Diaz, Stephen King, Lisa Gardner, Gene Wolf, Charles Dickens, Alice Walker, Selena Kitt, Terry Pratchet (sniff), Neil Gaiman, Lee Child, James Lee Burke, to name a few.

I'm a writer of books I don't want my family to know about. They (the books moreso than the family) are often erotic, always thoughtful, and usually explore the inner turmoils of people dealing with issues of identity and social norms.

Personal stuff: I grew up on the Coast in Mississippi. My family is all from New Orleans and south Louisiana.
