Quantentheorie: Ein Sachcomic (Infocomics) di J. P. McEvoy
Definitiv kein niedriges Einstiegslevel in die Quantentheorie (da sind die Bücher Carlo Rovellis besser geeignet). Die Verpackung als Comic könnte in die Irre führen, obwohl der Inhalt atemberaubend ist und ein umfassenden Überblick über die historischen Entwicklungen gegeben wird. Es wird sogar in mathematische Formeln eingetaucht. Quantentheorie ist im Allgemeinen sehr abstrakt und schwer zu begreifen... zumindest für Nicht-Physiker*innen... Ich habe das Gefühl, dass ein*e Leser*in ohne solides Grundwissen in Physik und Chemie nicht sehr weit kommen wird... zumindest nicht schnell und ohne zusätzliche Lektüre.… (altro)

I really like this series: they give an excellent introduction to their subject.
Lenin is portrayed a little too much as the good guy of the Russian revolution but, I guess that one wouldn't expect someone to devote so much time to producing such a well researched book, if one didn't admire the protagonist.
I think that the telling line comes in the last couple of pages, with the phrase, "...only concerned with the moment of a transfer of power", No one seems to have considered what happens AFTER the revolution!… (altro)

É uma história que mereceria uma resenha decente, mas sem condições de fazer isso agora.
Só posso dizer que é um grande trabalho, e me fez pensar no quão difícil é as vezes parar, olhar, pensar fazer as pazes com o passado.
