A sweet, simple book, great for teaching kids about bodily autonomy in a subtle way, and encouraging hug-averse children to communicate affection differently.

This book is about the Saguaro harvest and what the Native Americans do during this time of year and why they do it. It also gives every day people more of an insight into the Native Americans culture. Yet at the beginning of the book it tells of a teacher who is not Native American writing about it and how she says that some of the young people stay and follow in the native traditions and how others have started to become more modernized in current times.
