If I were an English teacher, I would use this as an introduction to Jane Austen. I had so much fun with it that I went back several times to make sure I didn't miss any of the paths! I think as far as Jane Austen tribute writing goes this was top notch.

I've always loved the "choose your own adventure" books, and when I discovered that there was an Austen one, I was thrilled! This book is good, clever fun - granted, I could be biased since I ended up with Mr. Darcy in the end...

I found it a bit boring and the narrator sounded dumb and limited in her choices. If you really like Jane Austen maybe give it a try.

After a few run through with the plot line, it got old fast. The point system didn't add anything to the book and mostly detracted the flow. Its fun the first time, but that's pretty much all its good for.
