I like odd books that make my brain go kablooey. Social commentary is a favourite of mine, both fiction and non-fiction. I also like reference books a great deal, but I don't have nearly as many of those as I would like.

Many of my books come from thrift stores and used bookstores. Some were freebies in one way or another. I've even pulled books out of the dumpster-- A landfill is no place for a book!

That's not to say that I don't buy new books every once in awhile, but the vast majority of my books were scavenged in some way. Also, I'm generally not interested in collecting mass market paperbacks.

Eccentric bibliotaph. I'm a music and book geek with a large scavenging habit. Especially when it comes to books. I like words, crafts, rainbows, collecting, and other such things. I plan on getting my MLIS degree one of these days and possibly start a career in the exciting world of cataloging.
