This small-town romance was such a sweet read and what I especially enjoyed other than Reeve, was that Audria was a city girl trying to find her way in the world after graduating college. She sets out to a teaching job in a small town and even if at first, she has her reservations she still takes it all in stride. I’ve read many books about big city person going to small town and that person always snubs the locals or their way of life, but Audria takes every experience as an adventure and it is so refreshing to see. When she meets Reeve, you can tell he is the local playboy, but something draws him to her, and he can’t resist even though he tries. Reeve tries so hard to be just friends with Audria, but once they see how compatible they are together the sparks don’t stop flying. Knowing their time together has an expiration date they make the best of what time they do get, and Reeve is just incredible. He shows Audria what small town life is like and he is absolutely swoon worthy even if he thinks he can’t do commitment. Audria knows her feelings are getting serious, but she doesn’t want things to end, so how can they possibly make things work or will they even make it work? Can Reeve let go of his commitment insecurities or will Audria decide that small town life is not for her? This was a very cute book and I absolutely loved Reeve because deep down he was a closet romantic that loved to spoil Audria on their never-ever dates.… (altro)

A very steamy medical romance with no strings attached which we all knows leads to some feelings becoming involved. Dane and Lars were characters that I was intrigued in from book one and I wanted to see what was going on with them. They both have issues with parents and their upbringings that are similar and leave them with walls sky high. Neither wants a relationship, Lars is too serious into dedicating her life to her job as a Psychiatrist and Dane just does’t commit to anything even jobs. What starts as a steamy no strings relationship they kind of flow into this progression of more with ease. I didn’t feel like they struggled too much with the direction things were going for them. This was a great read and I am looking toward reading this rest as these group of friends and characters have been fun, emotion, and endearing.… (altro)
