As with many books I start, I really liked this one. My second time reading it I started to notice how the heroine is just... well a bit dumb honestly. The beginning of the book is denying he’s into you when it’s 100% obvious! Whatever I could get past that. But then all the innuendos started, and it was non-stop from there. I don’t mind innuendos in fact when we’ll placed I like them quite a bit. It was just too constant and it got annoying. To put the cherry on top of this shit-sundae the heroine changed from being terrified and flinching at everything to being sassy and so many other things I kind of lost any knowledge of who she was anymore. There was just too much going on, they moved crazy fast and I couldn’t finish it the second time around.… (altro)
