Troels Engberg-Pedersen is educated in classics and philosophy and has spent his life as a professor of New Testament at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He has written monographs on Aristotle's ethics, Stoic ethics, Stoicism and Paul, and Stoicism and the Gospel of John, but a main focus has mostra altro been Paul. He is currently working on a book on Paul's Second Letter to the Corinthians. Engberg-Pedersen studies ancient material with an eye to its modern relevance.
