Liliana Colanzi

This short story collection by Bolivian author Liliana Colanzi shows a range of genres, primarily realistic with an entry of the otherworldly, but one horror and another pure science fiction (set on Mars) thrown in. They all have a similarly dark tone, often violent, and all unsettling with endings that pack a punch. The best, in my opinion, was "Alfredito", about a group of school children learning that their friend had died and attending his funeral. Overall, a little too dark for me, personally.… (altro)
