Aikido is a martial art from Japan that is both modern yet steeped in tradition. Based on harmony and non-violence, aikido teaches the art of self-defense, physical control, and cooperation. Aikido takes on many forms, from graceful, yoga-like movements to fast-paced swordsmanship. Through flips, rolls, and joint locks, anyone of any age or size can master aikido and improve their physical fitness and spiritual well-being.
