At first I was worried that this book would be about a dog dying.

It isn't.

It's instead about an old dog who longs for a slower pace but a baby changes everything. But then as baby grows and begins to walk themselves......old dog discovers a friend!

Sweet, gentle story about a mouse who is looking for a friend who loves the moon's glow as much as he does. He finally finds a kindred spirit in a fish in a nearby pond. Nice, simple text with clear illustrations. Good for storytime for both preschool and toddler.

This book is so very cute. It sucks to be lonely. The use of colour in the illustrations is wonderful!

I really love the illustration. That is what caught my attention. It teaches that art is truly in the eye of the beholder. You can't make a mistake when playing with arts and crafts. Art appreciation comes with so many lessons in life. It is not just about painting.
