Abel loved this book. He felt like he could really relate to the characters. At the time of reading he was 8 years old. He said that he could picture the scenes as described in the book. The author used relatable words for the age level. ( )

Suds feels pressure going into the 4th grade. His friend, Joey Peterson, demonstrates rebellious behavior by bullying the 1st graders, not showing fear for spiders, and saying "no" to his mother. He trashes his room and wins the hearts of all the 4th grade girls, including Sud's crush, Judy. ( )
