I enjoyed reading this book because it was actually very beneficial. to read. I thought this book was going to be about how certain animals live in places where others can't see them clearly. I was right in my prediction but what surprised me was that it actually went into detail about the animal that it was talking about. it had a very light tone which made the book fun to read. I also liked the style of the author because she had it in and A format which made the material very clear. ( )

I absolutely love the illustration in this book. The pictures help to clarify how the animals blend in with their environment and why. This is a great book to teach children about adaptations. This book would be great for introducing adaptation to the class. ( )

This book is all about how different creatures (large mammals, fish, insects, etc...) use their looks to camouflage themselves from predators and prey.
Although I naturally gravitate towards the big cats, I have to say that the bugs won the cool prize in this book. ( )

I love the pictures in this book! Kids wouldn't understand how an animal camouflages in the wild, and this book shows them just that. This book brings the wild outdoors indoors. ( )
