A rowdy baron gives up his life of hunting and partying for a large family that demanded he stopped partying. Reminiscent of other Charles Dickens stories, the main character has a visit with a ghost, and contemplates his next action.
The author Shirley Greenway elaborates the whole story with the characteristics of locomotion and movement. This story is about the morphological structures, functions, and adaptations of different animals like monarch butterflies, ostriches, kangaroos, cheetahs, hummingbirds, along with many other species. It seems to me that each animal belongs to a different class like mammalia, aves, amphibians, reptiles, insects, etc. I prefer to use this book for the grade 6 to 8 because middle school students always research on the different classes of animals, causes of migration, and whether are they vulnerable or not.… (altro)
I enjoyed reading this book because it was actually very beneficial. to read. I thought this book was going to be about how certain animals live in places where others can't see them clearly. I was right in my prediction but what surprised me was that it actually went into detail about the animal that it was talking about. it had a very light tone which made the book fun to read. I also liked the style of the author because she had it in and A format which made the material very clear.
