Each haunted by demons of the past, fiercely independent, armored in cynicism and misanthropy, they share a certain psychic landscape and brilliant, icy resourcefulness. Questo è uno dei pochissimi libri che non sono riuscito a finire. Per finirlo, mi mancavano circa 50 pagine. Ma ho pensato che nessun dottore mi aveva ordinato di finirlo ( )
Un giallo avvincente che però non convince nel finale e sembra approssimativo in alcune scene. Bella l' ambientazione in una Copenaghen sembra bianca di neve e di ghiaccio ed in Groenlandia. Interessanti le dissertazioni di Smilla sulla cultura Inuit, anche se il libro è comunque scritto da un Danese, che non ha alcun punto di contatto con quella cultura. ( )
