Livre très intéressant car il sépare les ‘mocktails’ (cocktails sans alcool) des smoothies et simples mix de jus de fruits. Il est idéal pour arrêter de boire de l’alcool, tout en ne pénalisant pas pour recevoir et faire des soirées.

Gros bémol: les anglicismes! Les traductions faites trop vites sont un frein à la lecture des ingrédients en Français. Je n’ai pas ce soucis de compréhension, car j’ai vécu en Angleterre pendant longtemps, mais je pense aux autres lecteurs. Je vous donne ci-dessous une traduction et/ou interprétation Française des ingrédients posant problème:

- sirop simple = sirop de canne blanc
- jus de pomme pétillant = l’équivalent Allemand serait l’Apfel Shörle, mais ici, on peut se contenter de faire de l’eau gazeuse à la Sodastream et de rajouter un pur jus de pomme, ou un Perrier avec un pur jus de pomme; il vaut mieux éviter les eaux pétillantes à goût trop prononcé comme base
- lait condensé = lait concentré sucré
- soda au gingembre = communément appelé ‘Ginger Beer’, qui en fait n’est pas de la bière, mais juste un soda au gingembre. Se trouve généralement au rayon des boissons gazeuses et/ou rayon nourriture du monde de gros supermarchés.

Tout ce qui est jus de fruits spéciaux, sirops spéciaux ou laits végétaux peuvent se trouver dans un gros supermarché/boutique bio. Aussi, certains sirop spéciaux peuvent se trouver au rayon des vodkas/alcools sous la marque Monnin en petits flacons, des fois au rayon des sirops normaux. En attendant, l’idéal pour une soirée est de faire le maximum de stock de sirops/eau gazeuse/lait concentré sucré/plein de pur jus de fruits/sans sucre ajouté. Avec ces quelques ingrédients préparés à l’avance en quantité, vous pouvez faire la plupart des cocktails. Je recommande sans réservations! ( )
