This Disney Kingdoms story focuses on the former Disney ride character Figment and his companions, a cat named Spark and a relentlessly positive girl named Capri. Even though this story is meant for young children, it’s hard to picture an elementary reader not quickly tiring of the comic’s cutetsy, nonsensical dialogue, plodding narrative, and a lack of understandable risk. While the attempt to tackle doubt and depression is admirable, this pedantic mess underestimates its readers, oversimplifies its subject matter, and, ironically, lacks any imagination. (
