Does Constantine’s Gift, if true, change your perspective on history or religion?

Not at all. I've always been a skeptic.

I think it does change my view.
I don’t buy into organised religion myself, but I’ve always presumed Christianity, the Church, or however you wish to define it, was based on true beliefs of this man’s (ie Jesus’) life and teachings. If Constantine’s Gift proved to be real, it would completely destroy that illusion.

Yes, in terms of religion. we’ve been led to believe one thing…and this completely turns it upside down. However it is what happens after this revelation that would really make a difference in how my views would change….if this were true.

I’m always skeptical and hardly anything we know is hard and fast ‘factual’. ‘history’ is not truly non-fiction. We only have evidence that is provided by the ‘victors’, those in power, and whatever physical evidence is/becomes available. Will we ever truly know? Not likely. So much is oral history passed down over the centuries. We’d really need a Constantine’s gift in order to find out

No, it really doesn't change my view on religion. I think what Christ taught and what his teachings became are only in the last 50 years or so being reconciled. There are congregations who are open to joy and love, and others who are into power over, no matter what faith they profess or what diety they revere.
