Please nominate up to two books you'd like as our group reads for March and April, and second as many nominated books as you like. I'll close the nominations in around one week.

Have we had Bleak House or 10:04 before? If not, I'd like to nominate either or both of these.

I'm going to nominate two shorter works that I've had out from the library for a while and still haven't gotten around to reading:

King Lear of the Steppes (it's included in First Love and Other Stories ISBN: 9780192825919) and The Bitter Glass

I second The Bitter Glass and 10:04 and nominate Cocteau, The Holy Terrors, and Hrabal, Closely Watched Trains.

Am currently in the middle of Our Mutual Friend on audio so I can't take on another Dickens for a while!

It has been a long time since we've had a run-off poll (so long that I struggled to find a link to the poll website!). Anyway, we have four seconded books. Please vote for as many of these as you like, but please vote only once, here:

Results are here:

I'll close the poll in around a week.

The two books with the most votes are The Bitter Glass and 10:04. These will be our group reads for March and April respectively..
