I won a copy of House Aretoli by K. M. Butler. It's a sprawling historical family epic set in late Medieval Venice. A bit different than what I've been reading lately, and it looks intriguing.
3Foretopman
I have won Best of British Science Fiction 2022 (ebook). This is the third of this series that I've won, and I'm very much looking forward to it.

I'm getting President Garfield: From Radical to Unifier by C.W. Goodyear.
7LyndaInOregon
Won The Cry of Dry Bones, by N.T. McQueen.
As usual, I can no longer remember what it's about or why I chose it. I will be surprised.

I won and have already received August Wilson: A Life. I look forward to reading it, however I'm not very happy to only have two weeks to read it before will stop being accessible to me.
15.mau.
>14 thelittlematchgirl: why? I thought that ER (electronic) wins were not DRM-protected. At least, in all these years I never came across such a book (in which case I would have complained, by the way)

>15 .mau.: I had some that told me I needed to click on the link or download it in a set time frame,, but once I have the ebook its there for good. Never had one where the actual book would expire after 2 weeks, (that seems more like its being lent from a library.
17.mau.
>16 Xengab: Agreed. 14 days is the typical lent period with Adobe Digital Editions, at least in Italy. But I understand that ER books are not lent but given (with the proviso we cannot resale them, of course)
