How does Bosch manage to persuade people to carry out search tasks for him? What are the qualities he has?

He has quite an arsenal of tactics, doesn’t he?
Honey; friendly persuasion; occasional strong arming; and downright deception.

He has the ability to read people and know what motivates them. Sergeirocks has his arsenal of techniques covered well.

Some people are good at persuading others and Harry is definitely one of them.

I agree that he reads people well and my favourite example is Hirsch the guy who has the power to check AFIS for Harry.

I agree with everyone, he is a good reader of people and knows how to manipulate them. He can also quickly change his approach.

I agree with all of the above. However, I find it very surprising that he's able to do this since he's not exactly charming...lol

I agree that he is masterful at reading people and knowing how to persuade them to do or get what he wants. He probably has a number of backgrounds that helps him, most recently from being a cop.
