Can`t add identifiers

Hello,
I`m adding VHS video cassettes manually, as they are not available in the databases.
The problem here is inability of manually inserting identifiers. I want to enter the EAN code of each video cassette.
The fields are there, however, inserting values into them is disabled.
I tried to save the record then typing in the field, but it`s still disabled.

Not a bug. Those fields aren't available except through sources.

>2 MarthaJeanne: Thanks for your reply. Well, I`ll consider it a must-have missing feature... EAN is the sole identifier for VHS, cassettes and magazines.
I need to close this topic, and open other one in the right place, am I right?
Update: I can use the field named "Other call number" as a workaround, and I can use the automatically generated barcode as a local identifier in the system... so, this shall work anyway.

Much as I'm loathe to recommend Amazon, there are now specific sources for Amazon Movies and Amazon Music, which are different from Amazon Books

>4 gilroy: I already tried them, but these items aren`t available there. May be because they are old.
