I believe it came out recently and is about Wharton during her years in France and her romance with Morton Fullerton

Glancing at books tagged "edith wharton", the first one I found that wasn't either written by her or a biography was The Age of Desire by Jennie Fields. It looks like a decent match, but then any biographical fiction is likely to look like a good match, so that's no guarantee.
