Genres that entertain me: horror suspense (as in actually scary and not just gory) romance with a twist (paranormal, sci-fi, time-travel) women's lit (no cute but dumb girls please, fantasy, high fantasy, dark fantasy, action adventure dystopian future, apocalypse, zombie apocalypse, offbeat and quirky, satire, science fiction, science fantasy ( yes, there is a difference), romance involving highlanders, Irish rogues, gentlemen cowboys, and Vikings (hey, I'm still a woman, don't judge me), family sagas, mystery, archaeological fiction, and urban fantasy. I'm sure I've left something out....

I love to read. It's kind of an obsession. I am never satisfied just having one book to read, I need to have at least one book on deck ready to go. I'm always looking for the next book to put on deck. The more books on deck the happier I am. I read many different genres. I love it when genres overlap, sometimes this can make my library a bit unique.
