Lover of Books that I am, my library has grown over the past 30 years. No matter where I have moved and no matter what has had to be sold or left behind, there are 250 books that always remain with me. They are the special ones. They are the ones I treasure and will never lend. They are the ones that will be in my estate when I no longer have need of this physical life. The authors spoke and speak to me. Even the covers and binders alone can remind me of wisdom used or required, experiences, joy, that is inside. It is my wish that every child have an opportunity to begin such a relationship with books and build a library for themselves.
