- I mainly read Historical Fiction but I love reading anything with an interesting plot.
Philippa Gregory is by far my favourite author of this genre but Alison Weir is a close second and I have recently discoverd Michelle Moran, who unlike Ms GP and Ms AW does not focus on English history but is a vibrant story teller as well.
Recently I've started looking at more non fiction history; to get a clearer understanding behind fictional stories I love to lose myself in.
Growing up I loved the Terry Deary Tudor terror series (still do!) and my life has never been the same since I first read Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone.
I've been a fan ever since and will be until the day I die!
I also like reading true stories... sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.
Occasionally a little adventure or a love story catches my imagination and Cecilia Ahern's books bring a spark of magic that so far no other author I've read can.
Dan Brown, Clive Cussler, Jane Austen, Marien Keyes, J.K Rowling, the bard... just a few of my favourites.
I'm also a mad film fan and my friends say that I'm Stephen Speilberg's worst nightmare. - Informazione su di me
- Well,
lets see - erm. . i'm 29 - been a book worm since I could read.
I moved from Devon to Leeds Yorkshire in 2004 (taking ALL my books with me!) and live here with my boyfriend (now fiancée) of 7 years.
Apart from reading I love watching films and going to the theatre. I Love to travel; I'm a bit of a thrill seeker (anything that gives me a buzz)and I like most animals.
