When I love a book, I gush, I rave. I write long, descriptive reviews on why I found a certain book so spectacular. When I find a book and realize, **this is my soulmate**, I go bonkers and start recommending it to everyone I know.

However, I am hard rater. People have told me I'm a harsh critique, that I'm difficult to please, and some people ask me if I'm a pessimist and can't appreciate things as they are, despite the flaws. If you don't like how many stars I have given to a book, well...I'm sorry, but too bad. I rarely change my ratings. I rate a book according to the type of an impact it made on me (if it was emotional, inspirational, insightful to me, e.t.c) and how much work and effort the author put into the novel. I rate books according to the flaws that are in the book, the strengths, and just how much I enjoyed it on a general basis.

I absolutely adore books- I gobble them up with extreme infatuation. My escapism is reading and is my form of great entertainment.
