The books in this collection were sent to Sovie Kudzra Basic Schools in the Volta Region of Ghana. Previously there were no library books of any sort at the school, which educates approximately 150 students. Students are in kindergarten to grade nine and range in age from 3-18 years. The books we sent arrived in late May of 2015.

Books Matter sends books to schools in Ghana, West Africa. We are located in Toronto, where we collect donated books. We then ship the books to Ghana, thanks to monetary donations made at our website. Many of those donations come from generous LT members. (We thank you!).
