A short and very sweet story, a sort of bonus sequel I think, which is enjoyable enough for you to want the original without it spoiling your enjoyment of this. Poppy is loving being with Leo, but her mother calls it a holiday fling. Is it? Or will Christmas with him and his family cement their relationship? Fun and festive.
This is a very quick read. I enjoyed it as I love all things French, dogs and Christmas! This romance contained all three. It did not contain any “spicy” love scenes. It was an Englishwoman in France at Christmas who finds a love and wonders if he loves her too. I loved learning of the tradition of 13 desserts, something I could definitely enjoy. The treasure hunt was fun too.
Rich guy meets relationship wary girl. Nate is a rich TV star and Tasha is the average girl searching for somewhere to belong. Despite these differences a friendship develops into more. I just kept thinking throughout the story I know what is going to happen. A good story but it could have used a little more depth. Received Rebellion of a Chalet Girl by Lorraine Wilson for an honest review.

Daisy's French Farmhouse by Lorraine Wilson offers relief to our heart in this summer with its beautiful plot. The story narrates itself around a Daisy who wants a second chance in her love life. The plot has few characters and too many dogs, which is kind of cute. If you are looking for a book to relieve you this summer, then this is for you.
