Wow, what a way to end this series, Blake and Erica start out on their honeymoon, beautiful time, romantic, full of love, then they return home and all heck breaks loose.Someone has tampered with voting on the election, and guess who they are looking at? Seriously, can they not just have their happily ever after, there is so much action, drama, suspense, you will be surprised at some of the findings, look out, awesome ending, a must read! Would love a follow up on Blake and Erica' s journey ❤️❤️… (altro)
WOW! Just WOW!! I absolutely loved this book and stayed up until 3:30 AM as I just could not put it down once I started it.
One of the most important things about a good book, to me, is being able to make a connection with the female lead. I loved Erika! Strong but flawed, a fighter and a compromiser, selfless and selfish, but so capable of love and so deserving of it. I absolutely loved her character. I can totally get her and the decisions she makes throughout the book. Even though you want to scream at her "NO!", you know exactly why she is doing it and that you would be doing the same thing.
And Blake, well, holy hotness!! His alpha-ness leaps right off the pages! Wow - just wow! There were some seriously hot scenes!! But he was written with such depth and character, that he was not just another rich, alpha, Dom, but a man you could respect, want to love and would willingly submit to. One of my favorite quotes from him: "That's it. Now you are going to come loud and hard and introduce me to the neighbors."
This book is full of passion, drama, intrigue, heartbreak, steaminess, mystery and love. I enjoyed book 1 in Meredith Wild's Hacker series, but I was just blown away by two.… (altro)

Erica is a new Harvard graduate. She has started an internet fashion company. She is head strong and stubborn but this company is her baby. One of her teachers gets her an interview with company that funds start up companies.
Blake Logan works for the company that Erica is trying to get money from. Blake lets her now right away that he won't be the one who gives her money but he wants to know if she had a boyfriend.
They keep running into each other. Erica soon learns that Blake has been setting up these run ins. He sets out to find anything about her and get her to be with him. Will she give in even though she see him dating her as conflict of interest?
Blake doesn't give up easy when she tells him she can't see him. Blake is intensely protective of Erica. How will she handle that? She is used to having complete control in her life? Will his protectiveness drive her away? Will she learn to deal with it?
I have seen a lot of reviews that compare this book with Fifty Shades. There are a few things alike but I enjoyed this way better than Fifty Shades.… (altro)

The Red Ledger Reborn is a bind up of the first three books in this series, and it is a fun, light mystery, spy adventure and amnesia romance, however the story is unrealistic and the characters come across as one dimensional. The memory loss part of the plot reminds me of a bad television movie in which the writer doesn't really know how to handle that type of story. There are some entertaining parts of this book, but the superficial nature of the novel and the lack of humor create a less than successful narrative. Overall The Red Ledger Reborn contains a few enjoyable elements, but not enough to persuade me to continue with this series.… (altro)
