I like this book, to be honest, It’s hard for me to understand. There is very little written in the US about Kwanzaa and It is something I would like to explore more. This was a nice starting place, but That may be because of my lack of knowledge, I don't know better.

A basic but thorough introduction to young readers about a politician with a very interesting background and a historic present and future(President Obama???).

Personal Response:

I really liked this book. It gave a lot of information, but it was presented in an interesting manner and this was a quick read.

School/Library Usage:

This could be used within a unit or display about the American presidents.
