A general reference books for all aspects of playing book. Pretty thick with all sorts of color photos and topics. The so-so DVD is an extra. As a novice pool player, I appreciate good source books on how to play the game better and understand the different types of rules/games.

This is an excellent book and video, which covers about everything you need to know about pool. The author specializes in teaching pool and put his knowledge in this book. This book is thorough and includes many diagrams. I strongly recommend this book.
