Pretty good. This is the story of Ivy and Max. Ivy is a woman who had a one night stand with a man who turned out to be the King of his small country. She gets pregnant and has to decide when or how to tell Max. But Max finds out first and has to convince Ivy to marry him for the sake of his heir and his country. This was a cute story about how these two get together. It also adds a bit more to the black market baby mystery that started in book 1 and has continued through the past two books. It's for the confirmation of who Everett really is, even though it wasn't tough to figure out.… (altro)

A friend sent this book in a box of books. I don't think she read it. It's been a long time since I read Silhouette--I honestly wasn't expecting much, but this one was a DNF for me from the first chapter.

Neither Celia nor Hunter were characters I liked. I'll give Hunter a bit of the benefit of the doubt--he was drunk the night this happened and I feel like Celia took advantage of him, and he doesn't really remember being with her--but the way he handles her announcement still rubbed me the wrong way. And after all, he could just say that once his paternity is established via a DNA test then discussions can proceed (of course, that probably wouldn't make nearly as trashy a plot). Celia, though, seemed to know exactly what she was doing--take a drunk man that she's been attracted to for a long time home, tell him she's loved him for a long time and wants a child, and convince him that he's the one to father her child--apparently never thinking that Hunter's judgement could be impaired by the alcohol or that he might not remember the event or that he might not want another child.… (altro)
