Paola Opal

This is a cute book and it contains the underrecognized stock character "Seahorse Dad."

Emma helps all her sisters by giving them flowers and then her daddy hedgehog gives her a big kiss. This is almost too cute.

Zingy's mission is to taste the sweetest flower, and in that sense he is perhaps the purest exemplar of what I love about these Paola Opal books.

Bitsy is kind of a keener and I can't settle on a good voice for him, so this isn't my favourite in the series, but these books really are very sweet.
