This book concentrates on dolls with stuffed fabric bodies, some with heads of the same technique (faces either painted or embroidered), and some with molded fabric-covered heads. It contains the best directions for the latter type of head (three different methods) that I have ever seen. Lots of clear diagrams for designing faces, attaching hair, sewing together bodies, jointing limbs. Many patterns, 20 different kinds of dolls. Step by step instructions for the novice but inspirational for more advanced toymakers.
