Michael Lewis was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on October 15, 1960. He received a BA in art history from Princeton University in 1982 and a Masters in economics from the London School of Economics in 1985. He is a non-fiction author/journalist of mostly financial themes. The New New Thing: A Silicon Valley Story di Michael Lewis

Un libro scritto durante la bolla delle "dot-com" che prova disperatamente e predentarci Jim Clark come un genio del software. hardware e finanza.
Analizzando attentamente il susseguirsi dei fatti emerge inevitabilmente come Jim sia una sorta di idiota baciato dalla fortuna.
Il tono da "lecchino" con cui Michael lewis scive il libro e' disgustoso. Come disgustoso e' il disperato tentativo di presentare come genialate le stupidaggini di Jim.
Raccomandato a chi avesse nostalgia della bolla e chi continua a credere che la "new-economy" dell'ano 2000 fosse un concetto economico e non uno slogan di marketing.… (altro)
