Magic, reindeer shifters, and tasteful romance—this book has great potential to be something huge. The writing style is easy to read and free of grammar and spelling errors. I recommend a round of developmental editing to tighten the storyline and make it longer. I understand that this was supposed to be a short story, which is why it likely seemed rushed in many places. I would like to see more character development as well. I hope the author turns this into a series and strengthens the storyline. I could see many people getting hooked on this, especially those who love a great Christmas story.… (altro)

I received this book from LibraryThing's Early Reviewers giveaway from the February 2024 batch, yes I know here we are in April and I finally got to it but I am a mood reader and already had so many other books I had started before I got to this one. I never really know how to rate a book but to rate one that I was given for free makes me even more anxious so I will try to be as honest as I can be.
I entered the give away because I been slowly but surely getting into some rom coms and cozy books such as this.
Stranded with a Shifter is definitely something different and out of the box of what I would normally read but it was cute and adorable. It is not necessarily a 5 star read for me because it was pretty short and didn't really build a lot of character development. To be fair it really read like an old school fairy tale story, it was really fast paced and quick cozy romance (no spice, which I have no issues with) so it's not a book of great depth.

I recommend if you like a really fast romance , that has no spice but is cute.

I enjoyed the story this book told, even though I didn’t always like the writing style as much. Not so much the way it was written but just how it was told. There were a lot of time skips that I would’ve wanted to know more about, like the elections.

I also found it a bit of an ideal story, so if you like that type of stories you’re going to like this book. But I prefer to have a bit of a disagreement at times, the three main characters somehow always seem to get along with everything and their tight knit friendship seemed to develop effortlessly which felt a bit unnatural.… (altro)
