Though I have not tried all the recipes the ones I have a great. I usually use this cookbook for desserts- which is good because they have a good amount of recipes for that. They have basic cake recipes which are perfect- though they don't mention you should use cake flour- and icing recipes that are easy to double. I also like the amount of photos used in the book. Overall I'm glad I bought the book.
