This book is 207 pages long, divided into eleven (11) chapters with an introduction and notes. It was an easy, two-day read. I give this book 3 out of 5 stars for technical merit. The book is great, it delves into some fantastic principles and applications that are needed in the church today. However, some of the syntax is a bit wonky. In addition, I found a few typos in the text. I understand this is as much a critique of the editor as the author, but this is a review of the book and that comes into play.

However, in the midst of the mundane, Michael Kelley does come through with several memorable moments. He is very good at laying a foundation and them summarizing his points with a poignant phrase...

This inductive and topical Bible study on Christian terminology has excellent content, application, questions and leader's guide. Kelley looks at Christian words that we tend to overuse and don't know the true meanings. The DVD segments were approximately 7 minutes long and good. Highly recommended for seekers -mature believers. (reviews 2015-16, Tom Brennan)

Michael's son was diagnosed with leukemia at 2 years old. We see a bit of the story of the battle with the cancer through dad's eyes. The real battle that we see is the battle that went on in Michael as he wrestled with God over his son's cancer. An illuminating look as we are forced to consider the idols in our own heart that need to be abandoned as God does his gracious work in us.… (altro)

When their two-year-old son is diagnosed with leukemia, Michael and Jana Kelley's life screeches to a halt as they devote themselves one hundred percent to his care and cure. What ensues is an emotional and spiritual realization, an awakening, that literally builds a firm foundation with the One who sees and knows all.

Kelley leads us through his journey, and how an incredible three years with his son's illness brought him to where he is today.

I give this book Five Stars and a big Thumbs Up!
