Keido retells several stories by Taoist philosopher Chuang-Tzu (circa fourth century B.C.E.), which demonstrate, according to the author's notes, the Taoist rejection of a narrow world view. These brief, thought-provoking tales are framed--rather artificially--with Chuang-Tzu's story of the philosopher who dreams he’s a butterfly.
