A great start to the "hopeful" Nintendo universe of animated films. The translation of the video game franchise into a movie is done expertly, and the voice performances all -- even if a bit questionable at first glance -- are excellent. There's also some good jokes throughout and tons of references for fans of Nintendo's properties. I'm definitely primed to see future installments and hope that this is actually the start of a franchise. Recommended, especially for fans of video games.

Content Concerns: There's a fair bit of cartoonish violence (mostly slapstick), but nothing else to worry about.

La película cuenta la historia de Mario y Luigi, dos hermanos que viajan a un mundo oculto para rescatar a la Princesa Peach, capturada por el malvado Rey Bowser. Las cosas, sin embargo no serán sencillas. Mario y Luigi tendrán que enfrentarse a un ejército de setas animadas antes de luchar contra su oponente.
